The Site Planning Services are designed to promote the best operating environment for sensitive electronic equipment such as computer equipment, PC's, workstations LAN/WAN equipment/systems, POS, and telecommunication equipment while providing for a safe working environment.
Site Planning Services are used for new network system installations or upgrades, expansions or upgrades of sensitive electronic equipment, or other investments in new electronic technology advances. This proactive service is used to insure a successful installation for maximum operating performance.
Site Planning Services is made up of three phases. The first phase is a pre-site visit to gather information and evaluate the proposed changes. The second phase is to develop a Site Planning Document that consists of all electrical, mechanical, environmental requirement information, and specifications for the proposed equipment. The Site Planning Document also contains drawings of the location, equipment layout and placement, electrical runs, and data cable layouts. This makes for a very comprehensive document that defines all areas of the installation requirements. The third phase is the Power Quality Program performed after the changes have been completed. This is to insure compliance with the Site Planning Document and that the electrical system and operating environment properly support the changes. The Power Quality Program provides a snapshot or fingerprint of the operating environment for future use.
